BloomNation has launched BloomNation POS 3.0, its most advanced, florist-driven point-of-sale system to date
Built with florists, not just for them, POS 3.0 represents the culmination of thousands of conversations, in-person shop visits, community luncheons, virtual trainings, and direct feedback gathered throughout 2024 and 2025 by BloomNation's co-founders, Farbod Shoraka (CEO) and Gregg Weisstein (COO).
"We've been personally flying around the country, meeting with our community of florists," said Farbod Shoraka, Co-Founder and CEO of BloomNation. "We walked into every shop, listening to the challenges facing each florist: rising costs, staffing shortages, increasing competition, and the pressures of running a modern flower shop. POS 3.0 is our response. Every feature, upgrade, and workflow was shaped by florists themselves."

One BloomNation florist, Bryan Lang of Savilles Florist, shared: "We're officially one month in on BloomNation, and I'm genuinely impressed with all the recent updates. From new features to overall ease of use, our customers have already given us positive feedback. It feels like the platform keeps improving every week.
I'm excited to see where BloomNation goes next, and I'm grateful for a company that listens, responds, and keeps building the tools we need to grow."
Key features
BloomNation POS 3.0 builds on the core strengths of the previous version while introducing new revenue-driving, time-saving, and customer-retention tools requested directly by florists. Together, these enhancements create a more powerful and intuitive system for running a modern floral business.
The new features introduced in POS 3.0 offer significant improvements for floral businesses. One of these is the Customer Loyalty Program, which rewards repeat customers automatically through customizable, points-based loyalty incentives built directly into the POS. Additionally, the system now supports gift cards, enabling florists to sell and redeem digital gift cards online or in-store, with seamless balance tracking and instant delivery. Physical gift cards already in stock can also be offered.
Another significant addition is the House Accounts & Autobilling feature that simplifies billing for corporate and repeat clients with statement or rolling balances, automated payments, and easy account management. Cash Management Tools have also been introduced, allowing for real-time tracking of cash sales, payouts, and drawer balances, ensuring end-of-day accuracy and accountability.
Recipe & Inventory Management is another new addition, enabling florists to standardize recipes, track costs, control inventory, and protect margins with accurate stem counts and recipe-based costing. This comprehensive tool helps maintain consistency while managing costs efficiently.
The core features of BloomNation POS have also been enhanced for the 3.0 version. The Fast Order Entry & Centralized Management feature allows for quick creation and management of delivery, pickup, and walk-in orders while applying discounts, accepting all major payments, and managing every order from a single, easy-to-use dashboard.
Smart Delivery Routing is improved for this version, optimizing delivery routes, assigning drivers, and sending delivery details directly to drivers' phones, along with real-time delivery confirmations. For events and weddings, the Wedding & Event Proposals & Invoices function enables the building of customizable proposals, which can be converted into invoices instantly, facilitating payment and communication management all in one interface.
Subscriptions have been enhanced, allowing florists to create weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or seasonal floral programs and automate recurring revenue. POS Hardware Integration is also a feature, with compatible hardware available for purchase, such as card readers, thermal receipt printers, cash registers, IPads, and barcode scanners.
Lastly, Reporting & Analytics provide insights with real-time performance metrics, sales breakdowns, and operational insights across the entire business. To assist with transitioning to POS 3.0, the Guided Onboarding & Data Import feature supports florists in importing customer lists, product catalogs, and past orders with help from the BloomNation onboarding team for a seamless transition.
"POS 3.0 is more than an upgrade; it's a major leap forward," said Gregg Weisstein, Co-Founder and COO of BloomNation. "In a year where economic pressures are hitting florists harder than ever, we wanted to deliver tools that not only streamline operations but also open new revenue streams, like gift cards and customer loyalty programs. This release brings together exactly what florists asked for: faster workflows, better customer management, deeper insights, and the ability to run their entire business from a single system."
