Den Ouden Groep gets new factory in Vietnam

For Paul den Ouden, the construction of a completely new factory for organic fertilizer granules in Vietnam feels like a true milestone in the history of the family business. Together with his colleague Rob van de Laar, he will soon travel to Southeast Asia to build a new production site from the ground up, about 150 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, according to the local news outlet Mooi Rooi (link in Dutch). For Paul, the adventure goes even further. He and his wife Lieke, along with their children, will move to Vietnam for four years, where the kids will attend an international school.

The new factory in Vietnam is being developed on roughly five hectares of land. It will be a full-scale production and packaging facility for organic fertilizer granules, similar to the company's site in Helmond. This means every step of the process will take place on location, from processing animal by-product streams to producing the granules, mixing, drying, sanitizing and packaging them.

Den Ouden is internationally recognized for its organic fertilizers and biostimulants, such as Fertiplus and FertiSoil, which are made from 100 percent natural raw materials and contain a high level of organic matter.
