Taiwan: HAWE resumes work at Sun Sing Garden

After a short interruption caused by extreme weather conditions, HAWE is once again working at full capacity on the new cultivation system for Sun Sing Garden in Taiwan.

HAWE is building a multilayer container system for the complete propagation of young plants. The installation will be connected to the Mobile Gutter System used for finishing the lettuce crop, and expanded with integrated harvesting, packaging and irrigation solutions. This creates one streamlined process from propagation to final delivery of the lettuce.

The typhoon that hit Taiwan caused local damage and led to a temporary pause. The greenhouse itself remained intact. Construction has now fully resumed under the guidance of our supervisors and a local construction team.

The project remains on track for completion in spring 2026. Sun Sing Garden will then benefit from a future-ready system that delivers more efficiency with lower water and energy use.
