Adomex will join Dutch Flower Group (DFG) if the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) grants its approval.
Both parties consider this prospective collaboration to be an important step in maintaining a dominant position in the cut green industry in the long run. Combining the expertise in cut green under DFG's umbrella will lay a strong foundation for further growth with this product group.
In 1977, Adomex became the Netherlands' first enterprise to specialise in cut and decorative green. Today, cut green - an essential part of flower bouquet arrangements - is considered indispensable within the floriculture sector. Salal, Aspidistra and Leatherleaf are just a few names in the product range.
Adomex will continue to operate independently after it joins DFG, thereby retaining its own identity. Cut green product development and innovation will remain a tangible part of Adomex's strategy and market positioning, based on its mission "discover the power of green".

Adomex collaborates with preferred growers and suppliers, and not only supplies florists, but also wholesalers and import companies throughout Europe. Sustainability takes centre stage in its strategy. Its activities include a membership of the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI), while maintaining close in-chain collaborations in order to effectuate improvements in the environmental and social areas.
Once Adomex joins DFG, its management team will continue to consist of Gerard Wijma (Managing Director), Mark van der Ban (Commercial Director) and Sieto Hoogkamp (Director of Operations).
Gerard Wijma: "I see a lot of growth opportunities in the collaboration in cut green under the umbrella of Dutch Flower Group."
Jan van Dam (CEO DFG): "I am delighted to have Adomex and their expertise join DFG. By making this connection, our shared aim is to continue to build on the power of green."
