Annet waves goodbye after 20 years at Fresh Publishers

More than twenty years ago, she started out by making phone calls for the Handboek Kasgroenten, the well-known reference work for greenhouse vegetables. Not long after, her first visits to Dutch greenhouses followed, all in preparation for a brand new newsletter called GroentenNieuws. HortiDaily followed several years later.

Thousands of articles, in-depth reports, photos, phone calls, and interviews later, the moment has come for a new chapter. Annet Breure, who for many suppliers has long been the familiar face of GroentenNieuws, will be saying goodbye to the organisation at the end of this year.

"Once upon a time, I helped launch the very first online platform for professional horticulture, and today, thanks to an amazing team, there are seven strong platforms firmly in place. That makes me incredibly proud," she said earlier this year. "Over the past few months, I have taken time to reflect, talked things through with friends and family, and most of all looked ahead. I can feel that it is time for a new step in my career, and I am genuinely excited about it. I am ready to set something new in motion."

We would like to sincerely thank Annet for everything she has meant to our publications and to the team. Her contribution has been invaluable, and her passion for horticulture has left a lasting mark.
