Bioline AgroSciences has announced an evolution of its governance designed to better serve growers, customers and partners, while accelerating sustainable performance globally.
As part of this transition, Gerry Huygens has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bioline AgroSciences, effective January 5th, 2026.
Ludwik Pokorny, who has led Bioline AgroSciences through a phase of development and international expansion, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board.
This strengthened leadership model supports Bioline AgroSciences' ambition to be an even more reliable, agile and performance-driven partner for growers, distributors and strategic allies, in a rapidly evolving market characterized by intense competition, at a time when agricultural systems face increasing pressure from climate change, regulatory evolution and market volatility.
Gerry Huygens brings deep expertise in scaling international businesses, driving operational excellence and leading complex transformations. His appointment reflects Bioline AgroSciences' commitment to scaling solutions that deliver tangible value in the field, combining biological performance, operational reliability and close customer collaboration.
"Bioline AgroSciences is entering a new phase that requires an increased focus on execution, discipline and speed. Our priority remains the same: helping our customers and partners succeed," said Ludwik Pokorny, Executive Chairman of the Board. "The appointment of Gerry Huygens as CEO reflects our ambition to fully unlock the company's potential, strengthen performance across all regions, and deploy solutions that perform consistently across geographies."
As Executive Chairman, Ludwik Pokorny will remain actively involved in shaping Bioline AgroSciences' long-term strategic direction, supporting the leadership team, managing key client and partner relationships, and leading M&A and strategic development initiatives, ensuring continuity and alignment as the company scales.
As CEO, Gerry Huygens will have full responsibility for day-to-day leadership and execution.
"Bioline AgroSciences has strong strategic foundations, a differentiated portfolio and a clear mission," said Gerry Huygens.
"My focus will be on execution that matters for our customers. Customer intimacy and innovation will be key priorities: faster response, reliable supply, strong technical support and solutions that perform in real farming conditions. Together with our partners, we will continue to build resilient, sustainable agricultural systems."
This governance evolution is part of a broader effort to strengthen Bioline AgroSciences' customer focus and execution model as the company enters 2026.
