Danziger launches cut flower catalog for 2026-27

As the floriculture industry looks ahead, Danziger unveils its new 2026–2027 Cut Flowers Catalog — a forward-looking collection designed to meet the evolving needs of growers, wholesalers, retailers, and floral designers worldwide.

With more than 70 years of breeding expertise, Danziger continues to shape the global cut flower market, having introduced successful brands such as XLence and Million Daisy (Gypsophila), Scoop (Scabiosa), Paintball (Craspedia), and the breakthrough novelty Unicorn.

The new catalog features nearly 60 new varieties and three entirely new crops, combining market-driven creativity with proven performance. In addition to its in-house breeding programs, this edition includes new genetic collaborations, introducing crops such as Sorghum, Achillea, and Phlox, further expanding Danziger's offering. Each introduction is carefully bred to deliver improved productivity, reliability, and consistent results for growers — without compromising on beauty.

Ori Danziger, Deputy CEO of Danziger, said: "This new catalog represents our commitment to delivering practical innovation. We listen closely to the needs of our growers and the market, and translate those insights into genetics that perform in the field, stand out in floral design, and ultimately create real value throughout the supply chain."

2026-27 Catalog highlights
Harmony Leucanthemum brings timeless elegance with outstanding performance. Featuring large, impressive single blooms and a strong, upright habit, it is well-suited for both open-field and greenhouse production.

Thanks to its naturally branching structure and stem lengths of 40–60 cm, Harmony is ideal for bouquet production, offering excellent volume, balance, and ease of use for floral design. Easy harvesting, high yields, and strong uniformity make it a reliable choice for growers seeking efficiency without compromising visual appeal.

Skyler Duo Crystal introduces a new level of flexibility to the Veronica category. This innovative series allows growers to choose between spray-style production or a single-spike format — all from the same genetic line, depending on market demand and production strategy.

With strong, elegant spikes and outstanding uniformity, the Skyler Duo series was recognized at Proflora 2025, earning 2nd Place in the Outstanding Varieties Competition – Linear Inflorescence.

The successful Scoop, Bon Bon Scoop, and Focal Scoop series continue to expand with three standout new introductions: Focal Scoop Sugarplum, Mascarpone Scoop, and Blueberry Scoop.

From deep, dramatic burgundy to soft creamy white and fresh lavender tones, each variety brings its own character, depth, and refined focal impact to every bouquet.

With strong pedicels, excellent vase life, and gradual opening for extended display, these varieties deliver reliable performance alongside standout beauty. Their well-structured blooms make them ideal both as bold focal flowers and for premium floral designs.

Sunova delivers bold visual impact with rich orange petals and a distinctive, yolk-like center. A versatile, pollen-free sunflower, it offers two production options: multiple blooms per stem or single-stem harvest per plant. Supported by sturdy stems and a vase life of over 12 days, Sunova is an excellent choice for bouquet production.

As a relatively new but fast-growing player in the rose category, Danziger is already offering commercial rose varieties that are gaining momentum in the market. Among this year's novelties are Calma, a refined pink rose from Colombia with strong productivity, symmetrical opening, and an extended vase life. Sweet Whisperer is a rose characterized by shiny foliage, high production levels, and a symmetrical opening. Senti Intensity stands out as a leading variety across all of Danziger's rose markets, widely grown in Colombia and Ecuador, and now successfully commercialized in Kenya. Known for its vigorous growth, strong petals, shiny foliage, and reliable performance, it has proven its adaptability and consistency across diverse growing regions.
