Anders Invest has acquired a 49% stake in Genap, based in 's-Heerenberg, the Netherlands. Genap designs and delivers customised lining structures and water storage systems for horticulture, agriculture and civil engineering. The company generates annual revenues of approximately €25 million and employs more than 100 people.
Genap has been active in water and liquid storage solutions for several decades. From its head office and production facility in 's-Heerenberg, as well as a second production site in Steenwijk, the company develops high-quality lining systems that are used worldwide. Applications range from water silos and basins for greenhouse horticulture to sealing systems for large-scale infrastructure projects and slurry storage systems for the agricultural sector.
"The strength of Genap lies in the combination of in-house material processing, craftsmanship and technical expertise. Plastics such as HDPE and LLDPE are processed internally and extensively tested in the laboratory, where R&D and certified welding processes ensure consistent and verifiable quality. Within the civil engineering sector, Genap works on major infrastructure projects, including roads, tunnels and landfill sealing. These projects often involve the installation of very large surface areas of watertight geomembranes, sometimes exceeding 100,000 square metres per project. Genap particularly distinguishes itself through an expertise mastered by only a few players: the professional installation of watertight layers under wet conditions," Anders Invest stated.
Genap supplies and installs its systems worldwide, supported by a network of its own subsidiaries and partners. For the international horticultural market, the company has local production and installation capabilities in countries including Canada and Mexico. This enables short delivery times and efficient project execution in these regions. In the agricultural sector, Genap has been supplying reliable slurry storage systems for many years. These solutions comply with increasingly stringent regulations and play an important role in reducing odour and CO₂ emissions.
Dick van Regteren will remain in his role as Managing Director and shareholder. With the participation of Anders Invest, Genap aims to further professionalise the organisation, expand its international production capacity, and continue the development of solutions for water and slurry storage, as well as lining systems for the civil engineering sector.
