Judged on criteria including innovation, garden performance, durability, and overall appeal, Festuca Glow Sticks and Azalea Encore Autumn Kiss have been named winners in the 2026 Green Thumb Awards, as announced by the National Garden Bureau (NGB).

Festuca arundinacea 'Glow Sticks', represented by Plantipp in Europe and Concept Plants in the States, was selected as the People's Choice winner in the Perennial category, following votes from thousands of home gardeners across the United States. The award reflects strong consumer appreciation for its ornamental value and garden performance.

In the shrub category, Azalea Encore Autumn Kiss, represented by Plantipp, received the People's Choice Green Thumb Award, recognising its appeal, reliability, and extended flowering performance. Azalea Encore Autumn Kiss will be available in Europe from 2028.
