Introduction of a new washing machine line

Limex presents the Modular 8: a configurable washing machine platform for crates, seed trays, flower buckets, or floats. The Modular 8 is designed to configure exactly the washing machine a customer needs, using standard modules. Many configuration options, but no custom-built solutions.

A customer-specific crate washer or tray washer, built from standard modules. Where traditional washing machines require a lot of engineering time to implement customer-specific adaptations, the Modular 8 consists of separate modules that are connected to each other. Think of pre-wash, one or more main wash modules, rinse modules, and blow-off units. This allows you to assemble a line that fits the practical situation. By placing multiple main wash modules in sequence, additional soaking time and washing power are created. This makes higher processing speeds possible within a single line, without compromising washing results. Each standard module also offers configuration options, such as different pumps for higher pressure or additional filtration technologies. Left-hand and right-hand configurations are also possible.

"With the Modular 8, we make it easier to choose exactly the configuration that matches the customer's capacity, hygiene requirements, and budget," says Joep Janssen, owner of Limex. "Our engineers have designed the machines in such a way that they follow each other seamlessly."

A washing machine for cleaning crates, trays, buckets, and floats. With a tunnel width of 800 millimeters, the Modular 8 is a versatile washing machine and is suitable for a wide range of products commonly encountered in the market. Think of harvest crates, seed trays, flower buckets, DWC floats, etc. Maintenance is also designed with practicality in mind. Components are more accessible than in traditional washing machines, making cleaning, inspection, and maintenance easier and reducing downtime.

The Modular 8 is based on proven Limex technology. Extremely solid, robust, stainless steel, and always reliable. There are currently twelve Modular 8 lines in operation at customers in various countries. With this new platform, Limex sets the standard for future models. In the coming period, the Modular 10, the Modular 14, and the Modular 18 are expected. These are progressively larger washers, replacing the current cart washers and big box washers with configurable models.

Limex will be at IPM Essen, hall 3, stand D52.
