Visitors to Deliflor in the Netherlands currently step into what feels like a real shopping street: the Deli Flower Market. The street features a music shop, a candy store, a paint shop and displays with large bags. Each "shop" represents a chrysanthemum grower that includes Deliflor varieties in its assortment.

According to Erik van Wijk, the market attracts strong interest from the outset. Van Wijk is responsible for chrysanthemum sales within Decorum and is present at the Deli Flower Market together with Roy Ton of Decorum grower Arcadia Chrysanten. Visitors are offered fresh sandwiches, including warm pulled chicken rolls, while growers and traders take the opportunity to tour the chrysanthemum displays.
During a walk past Deliflor's newest varieties, Jan-Willem Scheeve notes that 2025 has been a very strong year for chrysanthemums, reflecting solid performance and continued interest in the crop.

Deliflor has also built a reputation for presenting strong thematic concepts during its annual Delishow. Last year's theme was Carnaval de Flores; this year, the company has introduced the Deli Flower Market, complete with a full shopping street concept. A flower shop is, of course, an essential part of the setup, and visitors did not leave empty-handed.

The Deli Flower Market is open to visitors over two days. In addition, the programme includes a lecture by Dutch referee and entrepreneur Bas Nijhuis, titled Entrepreneurship Is Top-Level Sport. The session is intended for invited growers, company managers and trade contacts, and participation requires prior registration.
