Desch presents a renewed exhibition experience at IPM Essen 2026

At IPM Essen 2026, Desch will present a renewed exhibition experience, based on a new theme within its communication concept The Art of Recycled Plastic. This year, the focus is on the nursery sector, a market for which Desch develops a wide range of specialised products and solutions.

The art of recycled plastic
According to Desch, the new theme forms the foundation of a striking and inspiring presentation. The eye-catcher is a giant pot, designed in a completely new style and supported by two powerful explainer films. The pot is designed as an open experience, allowing visitors to literally walk through it and immerse themselves in The Art of Recycled Plastic. A true must-see in Hall 1 that is almost impossible to miss.

In addition to the new theme, Desch presents the full breadth of its portfolio. The thermoformed range includes transport and marketing trays, propagation trays and – specifically for the German market – TrayC trays. Desch also showcases its extensive collection of injection-moulded solutions, ranging from decorative pots, hanging baskets and bowls to functional pots for all types of cultivation. All products are developed in close cooperation with growers and industry partners, ensuring reliability, efficiency and strong market relevance.

Sustainability is the common thread throughout the portfolio. By using materials such as Recover® and D-Tect®Plus®, made from recycled and fully recyclable plastic streams, Desch actively contributes to a circular value chain. The Art of Recycled Plastic demonstrates that recycled material is more than art alone, it is a practical and sustainable solution for professional growers.

New Desch catalogue 2026
During IPM Essen 2026, Desch will launch the new 2026 catalogue: a complete overview of everything professional growers need for an efficient, distinctive and future-proof nursery. From pots, trays and packs to solutions for presentation, transport and branding — the entire Desch portfolio is clearly presented in one practical guide.

The catalogue goes beyond product information alone. It includes extensive information on printed pots, with design and brand experience shaped by Desch Creative Studio, as well as insight into Desch's sustainable choices in materials, recycling and circularity. In addition, the catalogue provides a clear overview of the special colours that Desch can produce on request for various injection-moulded products.

Colour Your Story Spring/Summer 2026
During IPM Essen 2026, the latest edition of the trend and inspiration magazine Colour Your Story by Desch Creative Studio will be available to take away. This edition offers a concise overview of the key colour and style directions for Spring/Summer 2026, with attention to sustainability, innovation and brand experience.

Colour Your Story Spring/Summer 2026 features the trend forecast by Hilde Francq, with Bordeaux as the Colour of the Year 2026, product innovations from breeders and practical examples that show how colour contributes to a distinctive concept.
