The 18th edition of the international flower expo, the "2026 Goyang International Flower Expo," has taken shape with 100 days remaining until its opening. This year's expo, themed "Flowers, Coloring Time," will be held for 17 days from April 24 to May 10 at Ilsan Lake Park.
The "2026 Goyang International Flower Expo" is being organized with the goal of promoting flower consumption and introducing K-Flower to the world as an international flower exhibition. The entire 250,000-square-meter venue will be structured to organically connect industrial exhibitions with outdoor gardens, creating a three-dimensional space where exhibitions, industry, and culture blend seamlessly within flowers and gardens, forming one vast exhibition hall.
The biggest change at the 2026 Goyang International Flower Expo is that flowers are no longer presented merely as beautiful subjects, but as experiences to be felt and remembered. The expo will attempt a "time-traveling" format, allowing visitors to journey through the past, present, and future with flowers as the medium.
At the heart of this is the large-scale flower design garden, "Time Traveler's Garden (Time Flow Garden)." The garden will feature a 10-meter-tall landmark flower sculpture designed to function as an actual clock, serving as both the starting point symbolizing the expo's universe and the gateway to other spaces.
