Bloomia, a tulip grower in the United States based in King George, Virginia, has announced that Antoon Volwater has been appointed General Manager of their United States operations.
Mr. Volwater is a fourth-generation Dutch agricultural expert, with expertise in tulip cultivation, operations and planning. He brings twenty years of commercial growing and management experience to Bloomia.

Since age 16, Mr. Volwater has been working in agriculture, with two stints at Sun Valley Floral Farms, first as the Assistant Production Manager, and later as Production Manager. Additionally, he was the Production Manager at Wesselman Flowers in the Netherlands for several years.
Mr. Volwater says, "I am excited to bring my skill set to Bloomia. I like that the organization is focused on innovation, and the opportunity to streamline production and maintain their excellent quality is really exciting to me."
