After several years of absence, Florensis returns to IPM Essen this year. From 27 to 30 January, Florensis will be exhibiting at stand 2A35 in Hall 2 with a presentation that takes a slightly different approach to past iterations. The focus is firmly on best-performing retail concepts: solutions developed together with customers and proven in practice to deliver stronger consumer appeal and better sales results. One of the concepts highlighted at the stand is Spring Break®, a spring concept designed to boost both consumer experience and sell-through.
Spring Break: spring impact in one pot
Spring Break is a distinctive mixed-plant concept in a single pot, featuring combinations of biennials and perennials, complemented with grasses and sedums. The carefully composed mixes create a fresh, playful spring look that stands out on the shelf and encourages impulse buying.

Designed for retail flexibility
Designed for retail flexibility, Spring Break was developed with maximum retail applicability in mind. Thanks to its broad usability—from packs to 12–19 cm pots—the concept is suitable for a wide range of sales channels, including supermarkets, garden centres and florist chains. This makes Spring Break a strong fit for both price-driven spring promotions and more premium assortment set-ups.

From market introduction to commercial scaling
Following market trials, Spring Break is now being further rolled out by growers who have been involved in the concept from the start. In close collaboration with Florensis, the concept has been developed into a stable, retail-ready and scalable formula. Many of these partners also work with other Florensis retail concepts, such as Mysty & Friends, helping to build a recognisable and consistent concept line within the retail channel.
New Retail Brochure available
To support growers and retailers, a new Retail Brochure is now available. It offers inspiration, product information, presentation tips and an overview of retail concepts for the entire year.
Availability of Spring Break (February – March)
Spring Break will be available in February and March in various pot sizes from the following growers: Roest, Wouters, Alpha, Alta Nova, Sonneveld Plants, Maron, De Mooij and Emsflower.
