Lock Drives:

"Simplifying technology in the greenhouse within reach"

Lock Drives will present its latest drive technology solutions for greenhouse construction at the IPM Essen trade fair in Germany. The company focuses on simplifying greenhouse drive systems, under the theme "Easy does it," highlighting solutions designed to be robust, user-friendly and widely applicable.

A central element of the presentation is the EWA 5 series of motors. These motors are designed for a broad range of greenhouse applications and are positioned as a durable and reliable option for ventilation and other drive functions. According to the company, the EWA 5 series reflects its approach to making drive technology easier to install and operate. The same philosophy is applied in the LSC 40 control system, which was also showcased.

LSC 40 for worry-free drive technology
The LSC 40 is a control system that operates without a continuous power supply and can be installed in just two steps. An internal memory stores the most recent settings, allowing the system to resume operation quickly after a power interruption or fault. An integrated safety switch prevents damage by ensuring that end positions cannot be exceeded.

"In combination with the reliable EWA 5 series and digital controllers, the LSC 40 provides drive technology that requires minimal attention," the team explains.

SBE makes management simple
Lock Drives has also introduced the SBE app, which allows growers to manage greenhouse operations via a smartphone. The app connects key greenhouse components such as ventilation, lighting, irrigation and heating in a single interface, with the aim of streamlining daily workflows.

"SBE connects important greenhouse components such as ventilation, lighting, irrigation, and heating in one app, optimizing workflows. Due to the modular system, SBE is easy to expand so that all technology can be managed from the app. Simple. Reliable. Easy does it."

Lock Drives is present at the IPM in hall 3, stand 3C15.
