Metazet's Trike range has been in use for years for heavy-duty towing and daily logistics. The vehicles are used to move (Danish) trolleys, roll containers, and other in-house transport equipment. Metazet is now introducing a battery upgrade for the Trike 400, Trike 1200 and Trike 3000S, featuring a new generation of lithium batteries based on LiFePO4 technology.

With this upgrade, users can operate the Trikes longer throughout the day because opportunity charging is possible. The battery level is shown more accurately on the display. The LiFePO4 batteries are designed for a higher number of charge cycles. This extends service life and supports reliable day-to-day operation.

With a module developed by Metazet, the battery, drive system and display communicate seamlessly. Faults appear as notifications on the display. When the battery is nearly empty, the system helps the operator continue smoothly to the charging point.
Existing vehicles can also be converted to this new lithium technology relatively easily.

Trikes are supplied as standard with one battery. A second battery can be added for extra range. The Trike 3000S is optionally available with a swappable battery pack.
In addition to the Trikes, this battery upgrade is also being applied to other Metazet vehicles, including the H-400, HT400XL, HT-1500 and E-Nova.
Metazet will be exhibiting at IPM Essen from 27 to 30 January in Hall 3, Stand 3A36. To learn more about the benefits, use cases or conversion options, contact Metazet or visit the stand for further information and advice.
