Kenya: Strengthening industry collaboration on sustainability

On Wednesday, February 4 2026, the Kenya Flower Council held a meeting with KEPRO Kenya to discuss key developments in the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations and explore areas for deeper industry collaboration. The discussions provided important insights into the evolving EPR framework and what it means for producers, exporters, and other players across the floriculture value chain, Kenya Flower Council shares on LinkedIn.

Beyond regulatory updates, the meeting also focused on opportunities for stronger partnerships between KEPRO and KFC. Both parties recognized the value of working together to enhance awareness, streamline implementation approaches, and support members in meeting their environmental obligations effectively.
