Set high in the Wuling Mountains and spanning over 300 acres, the Damu Flower Valley has been transformed from previously industrial land into China's largest shade garden, now welcoming more than 300,000 visitors annually. Part of the Damu's Jinfo Mountain Project, alias the "Bookcase of Mother Nature," Terra Nova Nurseries' heuchera, heucherella, begonia, echinacea and other varieties are planted throughout the park.
The various landscaped areas, beds and borders are a living showcase of horticultural excellence and a tribute to international collaboration between Terra Nova Nurseries, Chongqing Tianmu Agriculture and park owner Xai Yu.
Terra Nova Nurseries' director of new product development Chuck Pavlich recently narrated a new video, produced by Terra Nova staff, that showcases the Damu Flower Valley tale and what international horticulture collaboration such as this can yield for the planet and those who call it home.
