China: What kind of flowers can be found in the Dounan Flower Market?

Kunming Dounan Flower Market in Yunnan is the largest fresh-cut flower trading market in China and even in Asia, known as the "Flower Capital of Asia." It encompasses the Kunming International Flower Auction Market (KIFA), a flower retail area, a wholesale area for potted plants and greenery, and a cold chain logistics center. Through ongoing planning, the flower market has also developed into a tourist attraction, drawing large numbers of visitors to Yunnan who come to see it and buy a bouquet of flowers.

Outside the trading hall, a wide variety of fresh-cut flowers are on display, including Blue Stars, Sunflowers, Gerberas, and Succulents. There are also various Yunnan specialty snacks available for merchants and tourists to enjoy. The traffic here is very busy, especially at 5 PM when retailers are leaving and wholesalers are arriving with large quantities of flowers in preparation for the 8:30 PM trading session, making the roads extremely congested.
