The AIFD National Symposium is an educational and networking event for the floriculture industry, bringing together designers, educators, students, and suppliers from around the world for several days of inspiration, hands-on learning, and professional connection. The Symposium is open to everyone working in or connected to the floral and related industries including floral hobbyist and enthusiasts.

2026 Symposium Coordinator Vonda LaFever AIFD, shares "Educational programming at the Symposium was thoughtfully developed to support all segments of the floral profession, including retail florists, studio designers, event professionals, and mass market floral teams. Through stage presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops, attendees gain valuable insights, techniques, and inspiration designed to elevate their creativity, artistry, and business success."

Attendees are encouraged to register before May 15 to secure the best available registration rate. Early registration is also strongly recommended for the Symposium's popular hands-on workshops, which offer in-depth design experiences led by world-class instructors.

The Symposium officially begins July 2 with the Industry Showcase, where suppliers and companies will present their newest products, tools, and innovations shaping the future of floral design. "The Showcase offers attendees a unique opportunity to connect directly with industry partners and explore the latest trends and materials" says Lori Novak AIFD, AIFD's Partner Development Chairperson.

AIFD will also continue its "Bringing FFA to AIFD" initiative, which offers discounted registration for FFA advisors and students. This program provides a valuable opportunity for emerging floral professionals to experience the creativity, education, and mentorship available through the AIFD® and its Symposium.

One of the most anticipated moments of the event will take place on July 3 during the Awards and Induction Ceremony, where new members will be welcomed into AIFD and outstanding achievements within the floral industry will be recognized.

Attendees who select Premium Registration will also enjoy the Leadership Luncheon, which for the first time will feature a keynote speaker, adding even greater value and inspiration to this exclusive event.

AIFD National President Renee Tucci AIFD had this to say about the annual event. "The American Institute of Floral Designers® is excited to return to Orlando to celebrate the creativity and innovation of today's floral design industry. With dynamic educational programs, meaningful networking, and collaborative opportunities, our annual Symposium remains the highlight of our year – and this year promises to be an exceptional experience."
