The IRISS Universal Sorting machine from 4MT is a sorting solution that is widely applicable. The machine is suitable for sorting various cut crops. Examples include berry crops such as ilex and rose hips, cut flowers such as sunflowers and peonies, and crops with multiple buds, such as spray roses and snowballs (viburnum).
IRISS evaluates these based on stem length, stem thickness, stem curvature, bud size, color, ripeness, and the composition of flowers or berries per stem.

In addition, the machine can also be used for sorting rootstock. In this case, factors such as stem curvature and the volume of roots, which are important for sorting this crop, are assessed.
