Experience spring in full bloom at the Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo, March 27-29 at Hudson Valley Community College. Described as the region's most anticipated spring event, the expo offers "breathtaking garden installations, themed floral exhibits and a lively marketplace—making it the perfect way to escape the winter blues and get inspired for the season ahead."
"The moment you walk through the doors, you'll experience an immediate burst of color, creativity and spring blooms. The Floral Design Showcase transforms the entrance into a spectacular gallery of Festival of Flowers-themed creations, featuring towering hot air balloons, dramatic floral fireworks, opulent Gilded Age centerpieces, vibrant tulip celebrations and intricate festival-inspired tapestries," organizers said.
Visitors can explore immersive, large-scale garden displays created by the Capital Region's landscape professionals. The walk-through gardens feature plantings, flowers in bloom, patios, water features, native gardens with interactive educational exhibits and children's activities.
Exhibitors include Home Earth Alliance, Dirt & Decor, Empire Water Gardens, George's Market, Weathered Wood, the Northeastern NY Orchid Society and a sand sculpture by artist Phil Singer. Each display highlights ideas attendees can bring into their own home and gardens.
