Peter Barentsen is retiring after seven years as International Sales Manager at Oreon. He joined the company without a specific background in the agricultural sector, but brought enthusiasm and a positive attitude that quickly translated into results.

During his tenure, Barentsen focused on Northern and Eastern Europe, leading projects in several countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Russia. His work spanned a range of crops, including lettuce, roses, tomatoes, and orchids.
Colleagues at Oreon speak warmly of him. "He has always been a pleasure to work with and is very well regarded by all his clients," former colleagues said. They expressed hope that he will remain a familiar face, and given his close friendship with Jan, they are confident that will be the case.
