The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) is hosting the Breeder Showcase at The Floral Conference, taking place May 19–20, 2026, in Miami, Florida. The showcase will serve as a centerpiece of the event, bringing together breeders, growers, suppliers, and retail floral buyers to explore the latest floral varieties shaping the future of the category.
The Floral Conference is IFPA's dedicated gathering for the global floral supply chain, bringing together breeders, growers, retailers, wholesalers, and industry partners to share insights, discover new products, and strengthen connections across the industry. Designed to foster meaningful connections, the Breeder Showcase gives attendees direct access to innovative new varieties and the breeders behind them, creating opportunities for both breeders and buyers to form new partnerships and grow their businesses.

"There are very few moments in this industry when breeders, growers, and buyers are all in the same room at the same time. The Breeder Showcase is one of them," said Colleen Fagundus, Director of Floral at IFPA. "It's where you see what's coming before anyone else does, build the relationships that make deals happen, and have the conversations that ultimately shape what consumers find in the floral department next year."

A select group of breeders has already registered for the showcase, with more expected to join as confirmations continue to come in. Current participants include Ball Horticulture, Deliflor Americas, Dummen Orange, and Sakata Seed America, Inc., with the list set to grow as the event approaches.

The showcase is also drawing interest from retailers and floral buyers. Confirmed attendees so far include Albertsons Companies, Giant, Harris Teeter, H-E-B, The Fresh Market, and Walmart, reflecting broad industry engagement and anticipation for the event.
