Yesterday marked the opening of Flora Expo Astana. The international flower and plant exhibition is being held in Kazakhstan until Friday, April 10. And it's off to a strong start, according to Ed de Groot of 247flowers.online. He is attending the exhibition for the fifth time, showcasing his colorful tulips, chrysanthemums, hyacinths, and peonies.
"On this first day, we're already seeing a large number of visitors and the aisles are full. There are many florists and arrangers, who are also attending various presentations where our flowers are being used. Visitors are coming from all continents, including Central and Eastern Europe, as well as Kazakhstan, of course." According to Ed, there is no sign of tensions in the Middle East at the exhibition.

"Fragrance is very important here when it comes to lilies, and people are smelling them extensively," he notes.

"As volumes in this region continue to grow, Airflo sees significant potential. That's exactly why we're participating with our own stand for the first time this year," shared Robin van der Maden of Airflo on LinkedIn. "Stop by, have a chat, and grab a Dutch stroopwafel."
