The industry in Vietnam has seen many changes, now more technology is applied to growing, more greenhouses are being build and for open field better irrigation and cultivation practises are being used. Still opportunity in breeding and variety management, and how to adapt to climate change. Problems in the Mekong Delta include water irrigation and flooding.

Watanabe Pipe is a Japanese with office and manufacturing in Vietnam. The company builds and construct greenhouses. Also distribute related products like colouring for flowers, under the Fantasy brand, and greenhouse equipment.
