Greenhouse Manager (m/f/d)
Workload: 100% | Location: Basadingen, Schlattingerstrasse | Start date: Immediately or by arrangement
Your Greenhouse – Your Responsibility
You will lead our greenhouse department and be responsible for the cultivation of various crops (tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuces) using different growing systems (hors-sol, hydroponics, soil) across an area of 4 hectares. You will manage a motivated team and ensure efficient and high-quality production.
Your Tasks
- Management of vegetable production in the greenhouse (hydroponics, hors-sol, soil)
- Leadership and scheduling of staff (40 employees)
- Coordination of planting, crop care, harvesting, and post-harvest handling
- Monitoring of climate, irrigation, and fertilization systems
- Ensuring quality, hygiene, and sustainability standards
Your Profile
- Experience in greenhouse vegetable production
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Technical understanding of climate and irrigation systems
- Commitment to quality, hygiene, and sustainable practices
- Solid German language skills
