Global interest
The show was visited by 2,500 visitors. Next to the possibility to meet 140 companies from 10 countries, also a side program was organized.
Side activities exhibition
Five demonstrations were given by the following top designers: Annette von Einem, Tomas De Bruyne and Sofie Celander. These demonstrations were targeted to inspire and inform the visitors about making flower arrangements.
On Monday April 13th , the exhibitors were invited by the Dutch embassy and the city council at the city hall of Malmö. The mayor of Malmö, Kent Andersson and Mr. Middeldorp, the Dutch ambassador, welcomed the guests. Afterwards they opened the buffet. It was an excellent night to network.
On Tuesday April 14th, a seminar was held regarding the project GreenChainge. The seminar was organized by VGB, FSI and MPS/FFP to offer new insights in the business opportunities regarding sustainability in floriculture. After the Seminar, a reception was organized by the Dutch Embassy.
Visitors profile
The quality of the visitors was high: a number of large retailers visited the show. The results of the survey, that was filled in by the cooperating companies, showed that they are looking forward to the next edition:"it is the first edition which means that the show can only grow. We see potential in the exhibition".
2016
The organizers of the Nordic Flower Expo are pleased with this first edition and decided to organize a second edition in 2016. Soon, they will announce the date.
