FloraHolland turnover decreased by 6%

The colder weather - the temperature was on average 3.2 degrees Celsius lower than in 2014 - and one action day less caused this decrease. Consequently, the supply decreased and was smaller than last year.
The turnover of the flowers declined by 1.6 percent to 225,2 million euro compared to 2014. The supply was 12,4 percent less. However, the average price was higher.
Plants
Also for plants, the supply was less (minus 10.3 per cent) and the price was higher. Therefore, the turnover decreased by 10 per cent to 144 million euro compared to 2014.
The turnover of the garden plants was 77.2 euro. Also in this product group, the supply was less and the prices were higher. The turnover declined by 9 per cent.
