Plantarium wants to become international trade fair

The ambition of the governing board is to allow the Plantarium to grow and to become the leading international trade fair in Europe in the area of tree cultivation, floriculture and related products for the professional buyer. In the last months, the board discussed the future of the fair. From more than 60 action points, a summary has been made and these have been translated into recommendations. The board plans to implement these recommendations.

Plantarium is rather valued for quality than for quantity. The trade fair needs to continue to serve as a source of inspiration. In order to attract more visitors, it has been advised to invite people with a particular interest. An evening programme will encourage visitors to stay for longer. This can also take place during the day with presentations and pitches on the trade fair floor. Good communication is especially important here. In addition, collaboration with parties such as Groen-Direkt and TPK Media Partners can add a lot of value.

In the meantime, there have been conversations with potential collaborators. Groen-Direkt will provide a physical link so that everything will be clearer and more accessible for the visitor. In addition, the fair organizations are presenting a supplementary programme of activities. In collaboration with TPK Media Partners, exciting shop presentations will be displayed in the central axis. With GrootGroenPlus, the offer of a stage at each other's fairs is being discussed in order to raise awareness of novelties.

The 33rd edition of Plantarium will take place from 26 to 29 August in the Plantarium building of the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude, The Netherlands.
