US (MI): Greenhouse operation celebrating 20 years
The business has, literally, been growing ever since.
With spring planting season underway, this is a busy time of year in the three greenhouses at Superior Landscape Supplies in Oceola Township. Gardeners can find flowers, plants, trees, vegetables, hanging baskets and much more.
Dan Mills of Tyrone Township stopped by last week and purchased some annuals for his garden.
“I’ve been a customer here for about 15 years,” Mills said. “They grow the things I want. It’s not the same-old same-old you get at (a big-box store). The quality is better, and the price is very fair. I hope they’re around for another 30 years.”
Customers can also get helpful advice from Jeff Kahn and his wife, Sue.
“Sue is knowledgeable — I am, too — with the plant material. We know what we are growing,” Jeff Kahn said. “Sue will help the people who say, ‘I’ve got shade here, I’ve got sun here, what plants will work where?’ ”
