UK: Gold medalists from Chelsea Flower Show to exhibit at Royal Cornwall

A trio of gold medal winners from the recent Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show will be exhibiting at this year's Royal Cornwall Show.

Trewidden Nursery, Chris Osborne from Little Kenegie, both from the Penzance area, and Burncoose Nurseries from Redruth, will be heading to the premier agricultural show, which is held in Wadebridge from Thursday, June 4 to Saturday, June 6.

Burncoose Nurseries were not only gold medal winners, but also won the coveted RHS Plant of the Year title for 2015 as well. Their shrub, Kilimanjaro Sunrise, caught the eye of the judging committee.

The local Chelsea winners will be joined by further exhibitors who also claimed gold medals and are travelling to Cornwall to compete at the show.
