US (WI): Fire destroys Eagle River garden center
It wasn't the wake up neighbor Tom Polleck expected Monday morning.
"I was sleeping on the couch and I heard an explosion," said Polleck. "Got up and looked out the window, and the green house was already on fire. It was like oh my god."
The Eagle River fire chief says smoke alarms woke the family up.
"The south part of the building was already totally engulfed in flames next to the greenhouse part," said Patrick Weber, the Eagle River fire chief.
It wasn't just the family's business, it was also their home.
