Netherlands: Visitors from over 44 countries at Plantarium 2015
The foreign visitors came from all corners of the world. This year, we registered visitors from 44 countries.
Foreign trade visitors
Most of the trade visitors came from Germany (23%). Belgium was in second place (16%), with Italy in third place (12%). France was at number four (9%), the UK was in fifth place (7%) and Poland came sixth (4%). Denmark was in seventh place at 3%, with Sweden and the US both coming in eighth (2.5%). The other 21% came from the remaining countries. 14% of the trade visitors to Plantarium said that this was their first visit.
Position and company type
At Plantarium 2015, the trade visitors could be divided into owners (51%), employees (34%) and buyers (15%). The rise of 11% in the owners category is striking and came at the expense of the percentage of employees. The division into company type reveals the following picture:
Plantarium 2016 will run from 24 to 27 August 2016 in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude.
