Third quarter equal to last year; cumulative 4.6% increase in sales

Veiling Rhein-Maas has at the end of the third quarter, equal results as July to September last year. In 2015 until the end of September, they had 4,6% more sales than the first 9 months of 2014. This increase in turnover was mainly due to the development of clock service at the auction.

While the spring, especially the end of the holiday period, had a positive impact on the auction clock, the high temperatures in August were not so good for the sales at final consumers and thereby also affected the demand at Veiling Rhein-Maas. Generally there were no particularities in prices and numbers with plants or flowers and the positive development can be maintained.

The products Cyclamen and Gaultheria got at the start of the third quarter the designation `Premium Qualität'. Customers and suppliers show that they are content with the high-quality products with the designation `Premium Qualität'. These product groups at the auction can be supplied as `Premium Qualität'. Anthuriums, Phalaenopsis, Cyclamen, Chrysanthemums, Hellebore, Callunas, Osteospermum, Palargonium zonal, Cyclamen and Gaultheria.

Because of their regular presence at trade fairs, Veiling Rhein-Maas has acquired 15 new customers since July 2015. The client managers of Veiling Rhein-Maas were on the spoga + gafa of `Messe Köln' and the Floral fair in Ghent, Belgium, where they were able to make new contacts.
