‘Beam me up Booth’ English florist offered a look inside a greenhouse
It looks a little weird, with your head stuck inside a lampshade, but the experience is fun. Last week the British Florist Association organised the 8th edition of the trade fair Fleurex, where florists and other interested people could experience how products they buy are grown.
Fair Flowers Fair Plants teamed up with Florismart and Flowerweb, a huge part of the interpretation of the fair on their account. The new concept the ‘Beam me up Booth’ gave the visitors the possibility to have a look inside a greenhouse.
Florists were in this interactive way also informed about the label Fair Flowers Fair Plants. The label is seen by English florists as an opportunity to distinguish themselves from their competitors the supermarkets, which in England have a large market share of flowers and plants.
Fair Flowers Fair Plants is a label for flowers and plants coming from growers, which fulfils the highest demands in the field of environment and employees. Think of a lower energy consumption, good working conditions, hygiene and safety. The label gives the consumer the possibility of a conscious choice for sustainable flowers and plants.
