Debulb faster and more precise with vertical debulber

In close collaboration with a number of leading tulip growers, Bercomex has developed a new debulbing machine which can be seamlessly aligned with the Bercomex Furora platform. This new debulbing machine ensures optimal use of the stem length of bulb tulips. The Bercomex Vertical Debulber disentangles and separates stems, and this translates into faster and more effective operation than traditional debulbing solutions.

The Bercomex Vertical Debulber is suitable for any tulip processing environment and is an ideal match for the fully automated Bercomex Furora grading and bunching machine. The main reason for this is the fact that the stems flowing from the Vertical Debulber arrive at exactly the correct height for further processing in the Furora. The controls of the debulbing machine and the Furora use the same software, which means that their operation is meticulously aligned.

Bercomex has developed this technology to ensure a more effective debulbing process. This new debulbing technology eliminates the need to continually correct the placement of stems, straightening and disentangling. Not only does this method avoid stem breakage, it also represents a clear productivity improvement per employee. And the new debulbing technology also ensures a cleaner debulbing result as well as improved utilisation of maximum stem length.

The Vertical Debulber will be available for delivery early in the current tulip season, and Bercomex will be introducing this new debulbing technology at the SMTB machinery show in Vijfhuizen (12 - 14 January 2016, Stand 3C08).
