High-tech TulipStar with bulb remover captures the market

The TulipStar is increasingly finding its way to tulip farms. This year various breeding farms have purchased one or more TulipStar units. For one of these farms it is already the seventh TulipStar and for another company, number four and five.

Introduction
All these machines are equipped with the newest Havatec bulb remover, launched a year ago. Next to these machines, the bulb remover works also on 20 other machines. The Havatec bulb remover is unique in the choice of materials and its easy access to critical parts. The turning away of the bulb removal system or cleaning received very positive feedback.

In the meantime, the bulb remover is available with a patented crush-system for water cultivation and a jacking system for potting soil. The important traits of the bulb remover are: no stem breaking, low maintenance costs, deep cutting out of the bulb, clean breeding quality of the bulbs, high capacity. It can be placed before any bundling machine. The first new series for the season 2016-2017 is being built now.

The TulipStar has proven itself as a machine for the production of tulips by sorting and bundling the tulips with X-Ray technology. At full power it has a capacity of 16,000 stems per hour. The pace is attuned to the necessary labour which makes it profitable for flower breeding farms from five million tulips upwards. According to the companies, the TulipStar supplies one the cheapest machines per tulip and the least damage to the leaf and stem.
