Germany: 37 euros spent on cut flowers per capita

According to figures from the agricultural market agency AMI in Bonn, the past year cut flowers were sold in Germany for a total of 2.99 billion euros. Per capita, this amounts to 37 euros. For years both figures have more or less been the same as in the year before.

By far the most popular flower is the rose, accounting for 45% of the total. Tulips and chrysanthemums follow with 11%, gerberas and sunflowers amount to 4% each.
