Kenya: Naivasha Horticultural Fair kicks off

Today, the Naivasha Horticultural Fair took off. Stakeholders from the flower industry sector display their products at this outdoor event, which is considered to be the largest horticultural fair in Africa. It is in its 14th year and attracts an audience from across the continent and Europe. It is a two day event and will last till the 24th of September 2015 at the Naivasha Sports Club in Naivasha, Kenya.

The team of Olij breeding. Yesterday, Olij Breeding had already posted some pictures of their booth on their Facebook Page. "Ready for the Naivasha Horticulture Fair, starting tomorrow. Some nice new varieties will be displayed and there is more to see in our showhouse which will be open the whole day on the South Lake Road in Naivasha."

The event is open to members of the public and provides a range of entertainment (live bands, kiddies' corner, and BBQs, drink and a food court) to provide a family friendly weekend out.
