Gateway
The IFEX is known to be one of the largest flower exhibitions in Japan and can therefore be considered as the gateway to enter the Japanese market. And not only to enter the market, the show is also used to increase a companies market share in Japan. Soex Flora for example. This large Indian rose grower exports to Japan for over 20 years and will exhibit at the show to increase its sales to this country (Click here for the article).
Last year's edition
Last year, the IFEX attracted some strong Japanese buyers. Also the number of importers/wholesalers and chain retailers increased. In total, the 12th edition of International Flower Expo Tokyo (IFEX), together with the concurrent shows, the GARDEX, TOOL JAPAN and AGRI WORLD, drew a record number of 42,368 visitors over three days.
