Terra Nova offers sneak peek of Radiant series

Terra Nova Nurseries offers a sneak peek of two new varieties named Tanacetum Radiant ‘Deep Pink’ and Tanacetum Radiant ‘Light Pink’. These varieties are the first introductions to the new Radiant collection from Terra Nova Nurseries.

The Radiant collection offers ingenious breeding breakthroughs of color and design. The collection’s varieties are tough, easy-to-grow, and cold-hardy perennials with an early spring bloom time. They thrive in full sun or light shade with moderate amounts of drying between waterings; contain no major insects or diseases; consist of a compact, mounding habit that does not fall open; and have hardiness zones of 3-7.

Tanacetum Radiant ‘Deep Pink’ has showy, glowing, deep-pink blooms that last for a long period. This new and improved Painted Daisy has a foliage height of 12”, foliage spread of 14”, and flower height of 22”.

Tanacetum Radiant ‘Light Pink’ is a long-blooming, light-pink flower that makes for a cheerful and bright addition to any garden in the spring. With a foliage height of 14”, foliage spread of 15”, and flower height of 25”, this delicate daisy can also be used as a cut flower. For a 4” pot, the finish time is between 6-8 weeks. For a gallon-sized pot, the finish time is from 10-12 weeks.

Terra Nova Nurseries has created a “Plant Profile” page and “Grower Recipe” specific to this new variety so growers can learn about growing habit, plant characteristics, fertilization recommendations, water requirements, and other insights provided by the breeding team. These documents can be viewed and downloaded for printing at: www.terranovanurseries.com. Growers can contact their Terra Nova Nurseries’ representatives or email the sales team at sales@terranovanurseries.com.
