March 30, Carpinteria

US (CA): F2V dinner comes to orchid greenhouse

You can join the Field to Vase dinner tour for an unforgettable spring evening at Gallup & Stribling Orchids in Carpinteria, California, on Thursday, March 30. Just a few miles south of Santa Barbara, Gallup & Stribling Orchids holds a special distinction as one of a handful of orchid farms in the nation and is home to one of the largest plant-tissue culture labs in the U.S., dedicated solely to the propagation of orchids.

Home to many beautiful tropical and cymbidium orchids for over 50 years, father and son duo Case and Alex Van Wingerden have opened their greenhouse doors to F2V guests to experience a true orchid-lovers dream. Gallup & Stribling Orchids is nestled between the Carpinteria foothills and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

This year, new to the American Grown Field to Vase Dinner Tour, there will be an hour-long VIP Farm Tour, exclusive to 20 guests. This private tour will be led by farm host Alex Van Wingerden who will take you through his Certified American Grown farm.
