The wholesale market was quickly crowded with people, looking to be informed about the new varieties and colors that are on the market and about the latest trends. Together with Flower Magician Mark Frank the Flower Circus provided a show of 2 x 2 hours. During the break, the visitors not only feasted on all the goodies that were ready for them, some used the time as well to immediately order flowers that they saw at the show.
The florists were impressed by the presented flowers and what was made with them. Many photographs were taken and a lot of notes were written. During and after the show there was sufficient time to answer all the questions from interested florists and designers. In short, an entertaining and dynamic show during this open day.
On the way back from Norwich towards the airport we paid a surprise visit to one of the attending florists. After having recovered from the shock that we were showing up unexpectedly in her shop, she proudly showed the flower arrangements she had already copied from the show and she also mentioned that she would be making some more in the afternoon. They were actually exact copies of what was made with the same flowers and type of base. That's all the proof you need that this type of promotion really works.
Participating artists in the Flower Circus were: Arend Roses, Van der Lugt Lisianthus, Beyond Chrysanthemum, Bredefleur, OZ import, Deliflor Chrysanthemums, Chrywijk Bouvardia Briljant Selection and Florein Gerberas.
