In their search for the ideal screen, the grower, located near Lake Naivasha, decided to do a test with three different types of cloths. These are the Harmony 3315 O FR, Harmony 2315 O FR and Harmony 2047 FR, all products from Ludvig Svensson.
1 ha was used to test the three sheets. The test is intended to determine what type of screen is optimally suited to the Kenyan climate.
Pride of Africa
In Kenya, Van den Berg Roses grows medium-sized roses on an acreage of 70 ha. These roses have been marketed since the beginning of this year under the name 'Pride of Africa'.
