Austraulian online flower seller placed in administration

According The West Australian, a Perth-founded online flower seller faces hundreds of thousands of dollars in payment claims from florists across Australia and overseas. The company, Ready Flowers, has been put into administration.

It's not the first time the company is in unfavorable light. Over the past decade, Ready Flowers has been subject of customer claims of late deliveries or poor-quality products.

Ready Flowers takes orders online and relays them to local florists for delivery in exchange for a commission.

Directors Peter and Deborah Hegarty, of Manning, put the company — run by their son Thomas Hegarty — into voluntary administration last week through a Queensland accounting firm.
