After the kick off meetings which were held at the end of May / beginning of June the organisers can confirm the following new supporting partners: The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam, The Lam Dong Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Center (TIPC) and the Dalat Flower Association.
This support comes in addition to the support, which was already granted, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Vietnam Fruit & Vegetable Association (VinaFruit).
This strong support confirms the position of HortEx Vietnam as unique B2B platform for the Horticulture and Floriculture sector in Vietnam and the necessity of the event.

Horticulture and Floriculture are one of the most promising sectors of the Vietnamese economy.
Vietnam, with a population of some 92 million people, is a huge emerging market and the country‘s exports of Fruits & Vegetables have enjoyed strong growth in the past years, with an average rate of 26.5 per cent a year; from $439 million in 2009 to an estimated $3 billion in 2017.
Furthermore Vietnam has the potential to become one of the world’s largest flower exporters according to experts.
The sector is expected to show further growth due to strong exports and a strong domestic demand. The Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Vietnam, which will go into effect as of next year, will give an additional boost to the sector.
