The Royal FloraHolland auctioneers vlog regularly about the trends in the market, and what they find of interest. Wilfred van den Beukel and Luus Hooyman, plant auctioneers in Naaldwijk and Aalsmeer, take over from Paul Freriks in this third vlog.
They talk about the importance of good supply information. Wilfred van den Beukel emphasises, "Reliable and digital supply information plus a representative product photo help you achieve an optimal price-setting." The auctioneer also has a role to play. Luus adds, "Naturally, I walk among the trolleys before the start of the auction to examine the product, but during the auction process we depend on the information supplied."
