Flower Circus surprise florists in Russian cold

Last week Flower Circus was on tour in wintery Russia. Both in Nizhnij Novogorod and Kazan there was a performance by Flower Magician Martin Groen.
The first show was in Nizhnij Novogorod, where 180 curious florists were happily informed and inspired. Besides the inspiration from Martin Groen, they were also given the necessary care tips. Did you know that the cut Phalaenopsis must be stored cooled (6 - 10 degrees) unlike the plant and other orchids?

"After the show we were showered with compliments by enthusiastic florists, who went back to their stores with renewed inspiration and energy. We weren't allowed to leave until we promised to give another show soon," says John Elsgeest.

After a 6 hour drive through a beautiful winter landscape it was time for the show in Kazan. Kazan is quite a rich city due to the oil. The level of florist here is higher than average, and people use a wider assortment of flowers than in Nizhnij Novogorod.

This show also attracted many florists from all over the region (150). During the show there was a fun dynamic with the public and there were plenty of questions about the products and techniques used.

The artists that stole these shows were: Sion, Bas van Keulen, Kwekerij Tunezo, Ichtus Flowers, Amaryllisinfo, Beyond Chrysant, Chrysal, Deliflor Chrysanten, Special Orchids, van der Lugt, Florein, Dutch Green Centre and Yourlily.
